englischEducation has the potential to broaden and deepen democratic achievements to create a more equal society, but it can also lead to its indoctrination and enslavement. In today's world, an authoritarian capitalism has emerged, which I call neoliberal fascism. The capitalist system no longer needs democracy and is beginning to restrict the civil rights of the majority of the population. The practice of criminalising those who might oppose the current system is increasing. Pedagogy can become part of a project to build an egalitarian social order that is an alternative to a system that serves the needs of the 1%.
Bildung hat das Potenzial, die demokratischen Errungenschaften zu erweitern und zu vertiefen, um eine gleichberechtigte Gesellschaft zu schaffen, aber sie kann auch zu ihrer Indoktrination und Versklavung führen. In der heutigen Welt hat sich ein autoritärer Kapitalismus herausgebildet, den ich als neoliberalen Faschismus bezeichne. Das kapitalistische System braucht keine Demokratie mehr und beginnt, die Bürgerrechte der Mehrheit der Bevölkerung einzuschränken. Die Praxis der Kriminalisierung derjenigen, die sich dem aktuellen System widersetzen könnten, nimmt zu. Die Pädagogik kann Teil eines Projekts zum Aufbau einer egalitären Gesellschaftsordnung werden, die eine Alternative zu einem System darstellt, das den Bedürfnissen der 1% dient.
