englischThe subject of this book is the descriptive ethical comparison of attitudes of male and female physicians with different sociodemographic backgrounds on current medical ethical topics. Using a mixed-method analysis, interviews with German and Brazilian physicians were evaluated to analyze similarities and differences in the views on issues of assisted suicide, abortion, reproductive medicine, organ transplantation, prioritization of patients, and human genetics. The goal of this work was to examine the universality and validity of an ethos of the medical profession.
