englischThis volume gathers contributions from the 2021 New Trinitarian Ontologies Panel in Münster and the 2023 Persons from the Trinity Conference in Prague. The first section introduces Trinitarian ontology as a novel approach bridging the analytical and continental divide. The second section demonstrates that it is genealogically rooted in the theological transformation of philosophy during late antiquity and medieval philosophy. The third section connects these traditions with the 20th Century project of Trinitarian ontology, asking what is new about Trinitarian ontology. Finally, the fourth section focuses on the anthropological and political contexts in which the Trinitarian transformation of philosophy is taking place today.

Das Buch enthält die Beiträge des New Trinitarian Ontologies Panel 2021 (Münster) und der Persons from the Trinity Conference 2023 (Prag). Der erste Teil führt in die trinitarische Ontologie als einen neuen Ansatz ein, der die analytisch-kontinentale Kluft überwindet. Im zweiten Teil wird gezeigt, dass sie ihre Wurzeln in der theologischen Transformation der Philosophie in der Spätantike und im Mittelalter hat. Der dritte Teil verbindet diese Traditionen mit dem Projekt der trinitarischen Ontologie des 20. Jahrhunderts und fragt, was an der trinitarischen Ontologie neu ist. Der vierte Teil schließlich konzentriert sich auf die anthropologischen und politischen Kontexte, in denen sich die trinitarische Transformation der Philosophie heute vollzieht.
