englischThe author focuses on AGG hopping in the field of labour law. It is the first time that the decisions of the European Court of Justice in the case "Kratzer" and the latest judgments of the Federal Labour Court have been examined in monograph form. The author embeds the AGG hopping problem in the discussion on the function of anti-discrimination law and follows the integrity-protecting approach. According to this, AGG hopping can be classified as already not constituting a claim. The Federal Labour Court, on the other hand, tends in the opposite direction, assessing AGG hopping as an abuse of rights at best. The author makes proposals to ensure more effective protection against AGG hopping.
