englischThe textbook covers all facets of media change that are relevant for working in communication professions. In 15 chapters, it describes and analyzes the processes that are essential for planning, organizing and producing cross-platform publishing in digital journalism. Based on current research literature and findings from empirical journalism research, the book examines developments such as editorial convergence in the newsroom, new professional roles, innovative forms of storytelling, and changes in financing models. In addition, the question of whether and how cross-mediality affects the quality of journalistic content and university-based journalism training will be addressed.
