englischThe future´s energy supply will be based on a smart network between all actors of the energy market. This results in the extensive communication of personal energy data from private households. In order to achieve the goals of the energy revolution, interests concerning the environment and climate protection will have to be conciliated with those regarding the protection of consumers´ data.
In this context, Smart Metering focuses on the details of privacy consent. Before the declaration of consent, the consumer has to be informed comprehensively and understandably about the data communication processes in the energy market to achieve the validity of the given consent. This work offers a solution applying the methods of legal informatics to realize transparency for consumers and the establishment of a smart energy supply.
Die Energieversorgung der Zukunft wird auf einer intelligenten Vernetzung sämtlicher Akteure des Energiemarktes beruhen. Damit einher geht die umfangreiche Kommunikation von personenbezogenen Energiedaten aus den Haushalten der Verbraucher. Zur Umsetzung der Ziele der Energiewende sind daher umwelt- und klimapolitische Belange mit der Wahrung der datenschutzrechtlichen Interessen der Verbraucher in Einklang zu bringen.
Im Fokus des Smart Metering steht dabei auch die datenschutzrechtliche Einwilligung. Vor deren Erteilung muss der Verbraucher umfassend und verständlich über komplexe Kommunikationsprozesse des Energiemarktes informiert werden, um die Wirksamkeit seiner erklärten Einwilligung zu erzielen. Die Arbeit stellt daher Lösungswege mit Hilfe der Rechtsinformatik vor, die sowohl die erforderliche Transparenz für Verbraucher als auch die Etablierung einer intelligenten Stromversorgung realisieren sollen.
