englischThis work is dedicated to the question of the necessity and the design possibilities of offence-specific decision-making standards in sentencing. Starting from the widespread criticism of the regional disparities in sentencing and the lack of transparency in sentencing in Germany, the author discusses possible solutions, including the introduction of a sentencing database and the introduction and design options of sentencing guidelines. She also examines approaches from other countries, in particular England and Wales, and discusses possible solutions using specific offences as examples. A particular focus is placed on the offence of tax evasion.
