englischFocusing on the digital transformation in the publishing industry, this book analyses changes in work organisation as well as the use of internal and external labour markets. It shows that the boundaries between internal and external labour markets are becoming blurred, resulting in the establishment of so-called ‘Hybrid Labour Markets’. Beyond the publishing industry, the establishment of such labour markets for other industries and sectors is discussed. The book thus calls the basic assumptions of classical and current segmentation theories into question.
Mit Bezug auf den digitalen Wandel in der Verlagsindustrie werden in der Studie die Veränderungen der betrieblichen Arbeitsorganisation und das Spannungsfeld von internen und externen Arbeitsmärkten analysiert. Es zeigt sich, dass die Grenzen von internen und externen Arbeitsmärkten stark verschwimmen, so dass sich hybride Teilarbeitsmärkte etablieren. Jenseits der Verlagsindustrie wird die Etablierung dieser Teilarbeitsmärkte für weitere Branchen und Sektoren diskutiert. Die Grundannahmen klassischer und aktueller Segmentationstheorien werden damit in Frage gestellt.
