englischSocial work is diverse and exciting in terms of its fields of activity and discipline theories. Using discipline theories, which are presented in several steps and in different depths, this book derives and formulates an identity for social work, according to which social workers can design spaces for people with support needs to meet others so that they are able to participate in social processes better than before. The book makes both students of social work as well as (prospective) social workers aware of the significance of the different discipline theories, which facilitates the formulation of an identity for the perception of complex social reality and for professional conduct.
Soziale Arbeit ist mit Blick auf die Handlungsfelder und Disziplintheorien vielfältig und spannend. Auf der Grundlage von Disziplintheorien, die in mehreren Schritten und in unterschiedlicher Tiefe dargestellt werden, wird eine Identität Sozialer Arbeit hergeleitet und ausformuliert. Danach gestalten Sozialarbeitende Begegnungsräume für Personen mit Unterstützungsbedarf, damit sie besser als zuvor an gesellschaftlichen Prozessen teilhaben können. Studierenden Sozialer Arbeit sowie (angehenden) Sozialarbeitenden wird die Bedeutung der unterschiedlichen Disziplintheorien nahegebracht. So wird eine Identitätsformulierung für die Wahrnehmung komplexer, sozialer Wirklichkeit und für professionelles Handeln möglich.
