englischIn a globalised VUCA world, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) face challenges comparable to those of large companies. They need powerful management support, but there is a lack of controlling concepts tailored to SMEs. This work shows the success factors in and obstacles to holistic and balanced controlling in SMEs in terms of content-related controlling, organisational structure, processes and IT support. In doing so, it presents many generally and industry-oriented useful design recommendations for the realisation of controlling systems when faced with limited resources.
Kleine und mittlere Unternehmen (KMU) stehen in einer aktuellen, globalisierten VUCA-Welt vor vergleichbar gewichtigen Herausforderungen wie Großunternehmen. Sie benötigen eine leistungsfähige Führungsunterstützung, es fehlt aber noch an mittelstandsgerecht zugeschnittenen Controlling-Konzepten. Dieses Werk zeigt Erfolgsfaktoren und Hemmnisse für ein ganzheitliches und ausgewogenes Controlling in KMUs auf; dies hinsichtlich Perspektiven fachliches Controlling, Aufbauorganisation, Prozesse und IT-Unterstützung. Dabei werden unter dem innovativen Ansatz der einzelunternehmerisch sinnvollen Ausgestaltungsstufen viele allgemein und branchenorientiert nützliche Gestaltungsempfehlungen für die Realisierung von Controlling-Systemen vor dem Hintergrund begrenzter Ressourcen dargestellt.
