englischThe visible transformations in the labor market awaken the enhanced need to be able to conclude collective agreements for all workers who are subject to a bargaining imbalance. Particularly in view of the spread of digital forms of work – leading to an increasing blurring of the boundaries within traditional categories of labor law, this book sheds light on the impact and reciprocal effects of the ban on cartels which have recently been discussed in practice, especially at EU level. Considering the respective purposes of protection and existing conflicts of objectives, a more comprehensive approach is argued for that involves such workers in the mechanism of collective bargaining agreements.
