This comparative law study examines this question by analysing the post-mortem protection of personality rights in Germany and Italy. In detail, the author analyses the dogmatics of the protection concepts, the beneficiaries, the legal consequences of a post-mortem violation and the duration of protection. Finally, the author shows why the Italian legal system can serve as a model for effective post-mortem protection of personality rights in Germany.

Die Autorin geht dieser Frage nach, indem sie den postmortalen Persönlichkeitsschutz in Deutschland und Italien aus rechtsvergleichender Perspektive betrachtet.
