englischUnder the general heading of ‘Cultural Property Law—Reproduction Photography—Street Photography’, this collection of contributions to the 11th Heidelberg conference entitled ‘Kunstrechtstag’ deals with fundamental issues relating to restitution law, the protection of cultural property, art law and art procedural law as well as copyright law: obligation and time, and provenance as a defect—a painting by Carracci in Cologne, the effects of the Act on the Protection of Cultural Property on archeology, and public works of art—an owner’s property rights, the legal status of reproduction photography, reproduction photography by museums and their rights to those images, and walking with a camera—and street photography as an artistic practice in the 20th century.
