englischThis study contains the final evaluation of the project ‘promoting self-help activity in a rural area’, which was conducted in 2016–2019 in the region of Lausitz/public administrative region of Görlitz and was financed by AOK PLUS in Saxony and Thuringia. The regional agency promoting health-related self-help groups according to § 20h of the German Social Code, Book V is incorporated into the institution ‘Soziales Netzwerk Lausitz’ in Weißwasser. The evaluation is organised according to methods of qualitative social research and ethnography. The results of the project are discussed politically in the light of the legal framework within which municipal social services operate in German constitutional law in relation to the role of the public administration body in the region and the tasks of social services.
Die Studie stellt den Abschlussbericht eines Projekts zur Förderung der Selbsthilfe im Sinne des § 20h SGB XI im ländlichen Raum in den Jahren 2016 bis 2019 in der Region Lausitz/Kreis Görlitz dar, finanziert von der AOK PLUS in Sachsen und Thüringen. Das Projekt wurde durchgeführt von der KISS, getragen von „Soziales Netzwerk Lausitz“ in Weißwasser. Die Evaluation bediente sich Methoden der qualitativen Sozialforschung bzw. der Ethnographie und diskutiert die Ergebnisse politisch auf der gewährleistungsstaatlichen Grundlage der Idee der Sozialraumbildung im Kontext der rechtlichen Vorgaben kommunaler Daseinsvorsorge, hier im prekärem ländlichen Raum, dabei die Kooperationsfragen mit den Aufgaben der Sozialversicherung betonend.
