englischThe third edition of this textbook focuses on the eight areas of activity that are essential in social work: social work with people in financial difficulties; with couples, families, children and young people; as a profession; in education; with people with disabilities; with the sick and those in need of care; with migrants and refugees; with victims of violence and with criminals.
Each chapter is preceded by a typical case, followed by a description of the area of activity in question from a social work perspective. After the respective legal framework is presented in each case, a case solution is offered. Within the same structure, the authors describe the people and institutions involved in social work as well as the legal system superordinate to it: civil and civil procedural law, administrative and social law, and criminal and criminal procedural law.
Die bereits dritte Auflage des Lehrbuchs fokussiert die acht für die Soziale Arbeit wesentlichen Handlungsfelder: Soziale Arbeit mit Menschen in finanziellen Problemlagen, mit Paaren, Familien, Kindern und Jugendlichen, als Beruf, im Bereich Bildung, mit Menschen und ihren Behinderungen, mit kranken und pflegebedürftigen Menschen, mit Migrant:innen und Flüchtlingen und mit Opfern von Gewalttaten und mit Straftätern.
Jedem Kapitel ist dabei ein typischer Fall vorangestellt, gefolgt von einer Beschreibung des Handlungsfeldes aus Sicht der Sozialen Arbeit. Nach der Darstellung der jeweiligen rechtlichen Rahmenbedingungen wird jeweils eine Falllösung angeboten. In der gleichen Struktur beschreiben die AutorInnen die an der Sozialen Arbeit beteiligten Personen und Institutionen sowie das übergeordnete Rechtssystem: Zivil- und Zivilverfahrensrecht, Verwaltungs- und Sozialrecht, Straf- und Strafprozessrecht.
