englischImplementing the UN Convention on the Rights of Disabled Persons poses numerous problems for German universities, including ethical ones. This study highlights the development of disabled rights in Germany, examines how well people with disabilities are included at universities, and discusses the problems already existing in this regard. With a view to solving such problems, it analyses what people with different disabilities require as university students by considering the findings of surveys and research conducted at German universities. It presents detailed examples of good practice in relation to types of disability and according to subject area. All in all, it offers a comprehensive theoretical and practical insight into the subject of inclusive education at universities.
