englischSingle-use plastic items significantly pollute the (marine) environment. One of the main reasons is waste that stems from on-the-go-consumption. The EU reacted to this problem by adopting the Single-Use Plastics Directive, which had to be implemented by 3rd of July 2021. The author analyses the directive in its regulatory context and develops criteria for the implementation of the reduction of consumption of single-use plastic items for on-the-go-consumption. In the subsequent legal comparison of the implementation of the directive, she points out that the need for readjustment in Germany is high compared to the neighbouring country France.
Einwegkunststoffartikel verschmutzen die (Meeres-)Umwelt erheblich. Verantwortlich dafür sind u.a. Abfälle des Außer-Haus-Verzehrs. Die EU reagierte auf dieses Problem mit dem Erlass der Einwegkunststoff-Richtlinie, die bis zum 3.7.2021 umzusetzen war. Die Autorin analysiert die Richtlinie in ihrem Regelungskontext und entwickelt Kriterien zur Umsetzung der Verbrauchsminderung von Einwegkunststoffartikeln des Außer-Haus-Verzehrs. Aus rechtsvergleichender Perspektive in Umsetzung der Richtlinie ergibt sich ein Steuerungsbedarf in Deutschland gegenüber dem Nachbarland Frankreich.
