englischMore and more people between the ages of 30 and 64 are experiencing an increasing workload. Middle adulthood is also characterised by a multitude of social expectations and roles, which can limit the spectrum of self-determination and build up pressure of expectations. Engaging with one's own body, psyche and social environment through dance can help to find and promote access to oneself and one's environment.

In her empirical study, Anna Pilchowski uses interviews to demonstrate the effect of dance movement sequences on the self-concept and shows that the experiences gained in dance can be applied to everyday life.
