Her analysis focuses on the intrapsychic resources of creativity and relaxation as central mechanisms for well-being. In addition to the theoretical foundations of art therapy, the author draws on findings from the fields of health promotion and prevention as well as salutogenesis. Through the qualitative and quantitative evaluation of individual case analyses, the author demonstrates a significant positive effect of her concept on health promotion and makes a pioneering contribution to art therapy in the field of health and prevention.
In ihrer explorativen Studie erforscht Sybille Koenig ein von ihr entwickeltes kunsttherapeutisches Konzept zur gesundheitlichen Prävention. Im Zentrum ihrer Analyse stehen die intrapsychischen Ressourcen Kreativität und Entspannung als zentrale Wirkmechanismen für das Wohlbefinden. Neben den theoretischen Grundlagen der Kunsttherapie zieht die Autorin Erkenntnisse aus den Bereichen Gesundheitsförderung und Prävention sowie der Salutogenese heran.
